DACA – 2024: A COURSE TOWARDS RESOLUTION

Since its inception in 2012 under the auspices of President Obama, the DACA program has remained ensnared in a quagmire of stagnation, devoid of viable solutions. However, I firmly believe that we possess the capacity to effect monumental change by ensuring that DACA recipients exemplify unwavering honor from the moment of their childhood arrival until they are bestowed with the mantle of permanent residence.

 

Our aim is to welcome individuals who manifest an unyielding love, reverence, and respect for the United States of America. While proclaiming their allegiance to this great nation, it is incumbent upon them to substantiate these claims through their actions. Unfortunately, instances of street marches, desecration of the American Flag, and the unsettling act of placing the flags of their countries of origin above our own have cast shadows of doubt upon their professed devotion.

 

As your esteemed representative, I shall champion the cause by meticulously crafting a bill that enshrines military service and public service within their residing cities as pivotal prerequisites for DACA recipients. These individuals will be required to render a dutiful commitment of two years, lending their invaluable talents to vital domains such as the esteemed ranks of our police forces and first responders—a tangible demonstration of their dedication to the well-being of our society.

 

Through this resolute path, we shall pave the way towards a fair and just resolution, fostering a harmonious integration of DACA recipients who have demonstrated their unwavering allegiance to the United States of America.
